Base Rate Tracker Mortgage
These are mortgages directly linked to the Bank of England (BOE) Base rate. They will fall and rise directly in line with the BOE base rate subject to the specific scheme parameters.
By guaranteeing to track the BOE Base Rate any fears that lenders may not pass on future interest rate reductions are removed but as this is a variable rate mortgage you do not have the peace of mind of a fixed or capped rate.
