Who are Planit Mortgages

The company was started in April 2001 by Julie Hardman in the Dorset area, but geographically covers the whole of the British Isles. The business has gone from strength to strength due to Julie’s commitment to clients and always willing to go that extra mile.

Julie started her career within the financial sector back in 1992 with full and extensive training with one of the largest financial companies within the UK.
She is fully qualified as a Financial Adviser, but has chosen to specialise in the mortgage field. Another string to her bow is that she is also a qualified Company Secretary which has proven invaluable many times not only within her own business but often when discussing financial matters with clients.

Julie had worked for many years within the industry but felt frustrated with the service that clients had to endure. Julie’s ethics and her expectations of customer service gave her the determination and the desired push to establish Plan-it mortgages. The Company would be more ethical and in tune with clients needs and to fight back against the less ethical members of the industry.  A step she has never regretted.
In April 2001 when Julie and her husband relocated from London it seemed the right time to take the bull by the horns and launch the company.   

To continue the Ethical standing of the company, Planit Mortgages do not charge broker fees. They consider the fee received from the Lender is sufficient recompense for their services. 

Julie is supported by a strong and experienced team who are dedicated to the same values.

The Advisers like Julie are fully qualified and have a wealth of experience within the industry. Their knowledge covers the whole of the mortgage market as well as the associated financial requirements.

The Office Manager ensures the smooth running of the day to day business. She is a qualified mortgage administrator and has many years experience within the mortgage process. Once the mortgage application has been accepted by the lender, the mortgage will be tracked keeping clients informed every step of the way right up to completion. The office manager will be the first point of contact on the chance that your personal adviser is unavailable.

We feel that by sharing our knowledge and teaching people about their mortgage and financial choices, that this is the best form of advertising. We intend to dispel the myth that mortgages are difficult and complicated, therefore should be left well alone.
We provide a service to both professional people who use our training to provide a more beneficial service to their clients as well as groups ranging from those in further education, public services and open seminars.
  
With up to date technology the company has access to every lender and their criteria at a touch of a button. Important links with lenders have been established and our staff have developed ongoing relationships with key personnel who are on hand to discuss and advise on individual lending criteria. These factors ensure the smooth running of each mortgage case.

“We do not usually charge a fee for mortgage advice. However you do have the option to pay a fee of eg: 1.5% of the loan value and then you would receive any commission payable by the lender."
